Meet Erin MacIsaac

Physiotherapist, Sports Rehabilitation & Movement

Originally from Dartmouth, Erin MacIsaac brings a lifelong passion for sports, movement, and physical well-being to her physiotherapy practice. A former university athlete, Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas University in Fredericton in 2015, where she played varsity hockey and golf. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2017.
With a strong interest in sports physiotherapy, Erin has worked with several competitive athletic programs, including Dalhousie Football, Hockey Nova Scotia, and the Amherst Junior A Ramblers. Her experience supporting athletes has given her valuable insight into injury management, rehabilitation, and the physical demands of competitive sports. Erin takes a whole-person approach to physiotherapy, recognizing that successful rehabilitation involves more than addressing an injury or isolated area of discomfort. She places a strong emphasis on patient education and exercise, helping individuals understand their condition, build confidence in their movement, and take an active role in their recovery. Her treatment approach combines individualized exercise programming with techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, and K-taping, depending on each patient’s needs and goals.

Outside the clinic, Erin enjoys staying active through skiing, golfing, hiking, surfing, and yoga. An avid traveller, she also loves exploring new places and experiences.
